Happy Wednesday!

Hi!

It's a gorgeous sunny day here in North Central PA.

Joe's taking me out to dinner again this week. I guess he's making this Wednesday night dinner thing a habit. With a soy allergy, I'm severely limited on what I can eat, but he's so sweet, he checks the allergen menus for me before we go. Isn't that thoughtful?

FARM NEWS

One (or both) of the German Shepherds dug an enormous hole in the living room wall while we were at the Book Fest on Friday afternoon. Not sure what that was all about, but whichever party was guilty did it again overnight, so after a night in their crates, we've been locking them in the bedroom with us when we go to bed to keep them from doing it again.

Joe fixed it today and it looks fantastic. Far better than it did before the damage (he fancied it up with chair rail and wood panels—did I mention how happy I am that I married a carpenter?), but I sincerely hope they don't pull a stunt like that again. It was out of character for them. I don't know if they heard something or smelled something, or what got into them. 

In other news, we had a bit of a warm-up and got into the nineties yesterday, which didn't make for happy critters, but there was a sudden drop in temperature late yesterday afternoon, so they went crazy playing and enjoying the cool-down.
