Hope you're doing well. How are things in your neck of the woods? Last week was insanely busy, but things have calmed down some this week. Joe and I went shooting yesterday (and I got some bullseyes!). Then we took a drive out to Tractor Supply to load up on sweet feed, bird seed, and suet. Today is a rainy day. I have plenty of work to do at the computer, so I'll make the most of my time indoors.

The Danville Spring Fling went spectacularly. In addition to outselling all previous events, we had the chance to meet readers and newsletter subscribers, as well as network with local Christian authors. Surprisingly, my Endless Mountain series books sold almost as well as the Pennsylvania Parks ones. I guess the new covers were a hit. I'll also have a table at the Storytellers Book Fair in Lycoming County (on the Lycoming College Campus) on Friday, May 15, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM.

If you enjoy historical books set in Pennsylvania, Native Patriot might interest you. I don't know the author personally, but it was brought to my attention that Pegg Thomas lost her husband a few days ago. Her book released yesterday. Needless to say, promoting her own book is the farthest thing from her mind right now, so I wanted to do what I can to help spread the word about her release.

A sweeping historical romance set against the authentic backdrop of the Revolutionary War's Pennsylvania campaign. In the crucible of America's fight for independence, two souls must decide if love is worth fighting for—or if the divisions between their worlds are too great to overcome.

The recently hatched chicks are growing by leaps and bounds, but they're still super cute. As for the goats, they're competing with Sadie for who can shed more. Of course, Sadie's winning the battle, but the goats aren't slackers in the shedding department. Vicky Van Goat enjoyed getting her hair brushed this morning to remove some of the loose fur. Enjoy this short video titled "Goat Wrestling."

I don't think I've shared a Kickstarter project before, but I've supported quite a few of them myself. They can be an excellent way for authors to afford to write books they wouldn't otherwise be able to. They're also fantastic for special editions, as is the case for Joanna White's (featured below). Since she also writes suspense, I thought many of you may already be fans of her work. I'm planning a Kickstarter myself for my devotional project. I don't have a date set for it to go live yet, but I'll let you know as soon as I do.
