Happy Wednesday!

Hi!

Hope you're doing well.

The weather hasn't been as pleasant this week, but I did sit on the screen porch for a couple of hours yesterday before it got too chilly.

As you read this, I'm probably on the road. We had a death on my husband's side of the family, so we need to drive down to the southeastern part of the state for the viewing.

We may drive down again tomorrow for the funeral. Since we have to take care of the hobby farm, we won't be able to stay down there overnight to avoid the extra driving.

FROM MY WRITING DESK

Only a few more days until the Danville Spring Fling on May 2.

I'll also have a table at the Storytellers Book Fair in Lycoming County (on the Lycoming College Campus) on Friday, May 15, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM.

Also, the Endless Mountain Series had a cover makeover.

Do you love the new covers as much as I do?

My most recent novel, Blast Radius, will release in June as part of the Honor Bound Hearts collection.

And it's now available for preorder. I've been assured by the publisher that the price will go up upon launch, so if you're going to buy it, you'll want to snatch it up during the preorder window.

Zero Hour releases June 12, 2026
Critical Threat releases June 26, 2026

And now for the cover reveal I promised in last week's email…

FARM NEWS

Last week I mentioned we were incubating eggs, well now we have four sweet little chicks. They're so stinking cute.

Book 3 of 3: Agents of Justice Series

Just when it seems life can’t get any darker, his past comes back to haunt him.

FBI Agent Connor Fields and DEA Agent Elaine Jackson team up and are working on a case that started as a suspicious death. During their investigation, they discover that the perpetrator they're after is a convicted felon who is out for revenge and is going after his arresting agent, Grant Rourke. It's a race against time as the perpetrator is leaving a trail of victims in his wake.

Injured in the line of duty, DEA Agent Grant Rourke is forced to take medical leave. While struggling to accept the possibility that he may never hear again, he enrolls in New Beginnings Deaf Community Services, where he learns the skills to overcome the challenges of living in a hearing world. There, he meets Candace White, the attractive director of New Beginnings. She’s a beacon of hope in the midst of his darkest season. But will a dangerous figure from his past shatter their chance at love?

Targeted is a story of broken souls that are healed by the love of others who stay, even in the face of adversity.

I had scheduled Susanna Haymond for this newsletter, but a fire took her home before she had a chance to tell me what title she wanted me to share.

The above title is her latest release, I believe. Below is a note Robin Patchen shared on Instagram:

Fellow Christian suspense author Susanna Haymond and her husband, Jason, recently lost their home in a fire. I’m joining a group of authors to help raise awareness for a fundraiser supporting the Haymonds as they begin to rebuild. 🩶

Any amount makes a difference, and I know Susanna and Jason would be so grateful for your support.

Not able to donate? Please consider lifting the Haymonds up in prayer. Prayer is powerful—we serve an awesome God who does mighty things! 🙌
