It's a beautiful spring morning. The daffodils and hyacinths are in bloom. 

There's a slight chill in the air, but not enough to keep me from working on the screen porch this morning.

I'm still losing my mind trying to reach my writing deadline. The first draft is complete, praise the Lord, but I'm short on my word count. Your continued prayers are much appreciated.

In other news, I have some events coming up. I'll be at the Selinsgrove Book Festival on Saturday, April 11, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. I'll also be at the Danville Spring Fling on Saturday, May 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Callie was barking at the neighbor, Larry, and his dog, Bella, this morning, so she had to stay inside while we took care of the morning chores. Needless to say, she wasn't thrilled with the idea.

The goats have been playful lately, so we ordered an outdoor camera in the hopes that we can get some of their antics on video for you. It's hard for us to video them because as soon as they see us, they want to see what we're doing, so they stop what they're doing. This new setup will allow us to push a button whenever we want to record them instead of trying to sneak up on them (nearly impossible).
