Hope all is going well in your neck of the woods. 

We had a slip-sliding kind of morning as we tried to navigate rain-covered ice, but the temperatures warmed up some, so maybe some of the ice on the north side of the barn will finally melt away.

I've been busy trying to meet my writing deadlines, while also navigating tax season and preparing for a women's Bible study I'll be teaching starting this Friday.

Despite the overloaded schedule, I'm blessed to have the peace of God that lets me navigate a hectic season without a hectic heart.

FARM NEWS

This afternoon, Daisy's coat was hanging onto the ground, so we took it off her. Hopefully, the goats will leave her alone and not try to pull out her wool now that their boredom is relieved and they can run around the pastures.

Now that the snow is melted, the goats can have their sweet feed in the penned-in area instead of the barn. 

Sadie, our livestock guardian dog, still isn't much of a fan of the neighbor's dogs. Considering the fact that he's still here, I think it's pretty safe to say he moved in permanently this past fall instead of his usual hunting-season visit.

The chickens are laying eggs regularly again, which is nice.
