Happy Wednesday!

Hi!

We made it through what I hope was our final cold snap. Hope the weather is improving for you, too.

Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny, so we'll probably take Vicky's coat off again.

FROM MY WRITING DESK

I've been typing furiously to meet a deadline for a June release, which means most of my other writing tasks are falling by the wayside.

Stay tuned for more information on that upcoming release.

In the meantime, I have an exciting announcement.

This week, you can preorder Taken but Not Forsaken for only $0.99.

This anthology includes seven full-length Christian romantic suspense novels.

The lineup features some of the biggest names in the genre: Susan May Warren, Robin Patchen, Cami Checketts, Jennifer Youngblood, Elle E. Kay (yours truly), Alexa Verde, and Susan Sleeman.

This multi-author collection releases on March 17th.

FARM NEWS

You may recall Farmer Joe picking up two massive mineral blocks for the livestock a few weeks ago. Well, the animals demolished both of them. We will need to grab more on our next trip to Tractor Supply.

Meanwhile, Vicky nearly spent last night locked in the chicken coop. She slipped inside before I secured the little hatch, completely unnoticed. Fortunately for her, I returned to toss the flock a bit more food and found her waiting in the dim space. I ushered her back to the barn where she belongs.

Sadie caused her own share of trouble Sunday morning. Joe and I were dressed and ready to walk out the door for church when he spotted her wandering outside the pastures. Our neighbor has a habit of tossing food scraps over the stone row into our yard, completely unconcerned about the wildlife it attracts. This time, he threw out a pile of filleted fish scraps. The smell lured Sadie right under the fence. Joe had the thankless job of wrestling the smelly mess away from her. Once he marched her back inside, she stayed put.

ROSE FRESQUEZ

A near accident. A mysterious stranger. A love that feels like déjà vu.

Prisha Kapoor is content in her South Indian village, matchmaking neighbors and cherishing a simple life. A trip into town ends with her driver nearly hitting a child—a stranger intervenes and is struck instead. Now Prisha is responsible for a man with no memory, no identification, and a hospital bill she can’t afford.

Rohan Stone wakes knowing three things. Someone wants him dead, God is still God, and the woman who saved him feels strangely familiar. Though she doesn’t seem to know him, her kindness offers safety, and her village is the perfect place to stay. In exchange for a room, he offers to help rebuild her guesthouse.

For Prisha, Rohan is temporary. Yet their shared past makes his presence anything but accidental. His quiet faith stirs questions about a God she’s never considered, and his patience dismantles walls she didn’t know she’d built. But every memory he regains pulls him closer to the life he left behind—and cuts deeper into their borrowed time. The truth forces Prisha to face what she already fears— Rohan was never meant to stay.

When his memory fully returns, can love bridge the gap between a billionaire’s world and a village matchmaker’s quiet life, or will his past pull him away for good?
