Happy Wednesday!

Hi!

We had our first measurable snowfall yesterday. It was pretty, but also a touch scary as we wound our way down the mountain to run some errands.

If you're in the northern hemisphere have you had any snowfall yet this year?

We had some additional errands to run today, so Joe drove me to my dental appointment and ran to Tractor Supply and the grocery store while I was in there.

I should know better than to schedule dental appointments for newsletter day, but that's just what I did. And the next one will fall on a Wednesday, too.

Please let me know how you're doing and if you have any prayer requests.

FARM NEWS

Remember how our Maremma Sheepdog, Sadie, had chewed some areas on her side raw? Thankfully, whatever was bothering her has cleared up, and her fur is growing back nicely.

She's back to her usual self, as you'll see in the video below. Farmer Joe captured some great moments that I blended together in Adobe Premiere Pro.

FROM MY WRITING DESK

Midnight Masquerade is here! The ebook released last Friday and the paperback went live on Amazon yesterday. I expect it to have it uploaded to my website tomorrow (BookVault prints those copies, and they're better quality than Amazon, so if you want a copy for your trophy shelf, you'll want to order it from me).

Clearing the Cowboy's Name releases November 19th.

In other book news, I initially expected Project Sentinel to be a standalone, but due to reader demand, I'm now in the outlining stage for a book two, Project Citadel.

KASEY STOCKTON

Until he rejects her.

Gavin Mackenzie doesn’t do flings, especially not with tourists who’ll be gone before the snow melts. He’s got enough on his plate—keeping the old family cottage running, managing the quiet that sometimes feels like loneliness, and pretending he’s just fine, thank you very much. The last thing he needs is a whirlwind American trying to kiss him in a pub… or move into his personal space.

But when a snowstorm leaves them stranded together, Callie’s forced to stay with the last man she wants to face. She’s prickly and wounded. He’s charming but distant. And neither of them are prepared for the slow burn that starts to crack their walls.

In between the cocoa and the Christmas tree, they’ll both have to face what they’re really afraid of: asking for what they need… and trusting someone else to give it.
