Happy Wednesday!

Hi!

The days are flying by here on the hobby farm as I race to prep my new release.

Joe took the time to clean up all the leaves, but within a couple of days everything was covered again. He claims he's not happy, but he's in his glory when he's out there with the lawn tractor with its leaf sweeper attachment.

How are you? Are leaves falling in your neck of the woods?

Please let me know if there is anything you'd like me to pray about.

FARM NEWS

The neighbor just did his annual tractor pass to cut down the field that abuts ours. Now our dogs have a clear view of the neighborhood bucks which isn't great since chase season has begun. And that means incessant barking.

Our Maremma Sheepdog, Sadie, gets bored with the barking rather quickly during the day, but at night she can be persistent.

Speaking of Sadie, the poor girl has been chewing at her sides, so I've been treating the area, and Farmer Joe plans to give her a bath today. The temperatures are supposed to get into the 60s, so it should be warm enough. Her vet had offered a prescription for Apoquel if her itching came back, so we're going to try that out and see if it helps her.

FROM MY WRITING DESK

Two more days until Midnight Masquerade releases! After all the extra hours and close calls, we actually made it!

Clearing the Cowboy's Name is still on the docket for November 19th.

I'm looking forward to getting out of the editing trenches and back into the creative part of writing as I begin Project Citadel, the sequel to Project Sentinel.

If you haven't stopped by my blog lately, you might want to do so today. Carrie Stuart Parks stopped by and she's doing a giveaway, so make sure to enter for a chance to win. Be sure to leave an encouraging comment while you're there. It's little things like that which can really make an author's day.

TARA GRACE ERICSON

She color-codes her planner. He barely plans the next fifteen minutes.

Neither planned on getting married.

When Juliana Emerson finds herself dumped days before her dream honeymoon, she goes anyway—armed with an iron-clad itinerary and determined not to let her ex-fiance dictate her life.

Gideon Reynolds is all charm, chaos, and mountain-man grins. Crashing Juliana’s vacation wasn’t in his plans—and neither was participating in a symbolic island wedding ceremony.

Now, months later and just before Christmas, Juliana shows up in Colorado at Redemption Ridge Ranch determined to fix their symbolic marriage that turned out to be very real. But between his unpredictable nature, a calendar full of holiday events, and a growing attraction that wasn’t part of anyone’s plan, “fixing it” might not be so simple.

As sparks fly and tempers flare, both will have to confront what they believe about control, commitment, and the kind of love worth surrendering to.
