Happy Wednesday!

Hello there,

Hope you had a wonderful week! I've been rediscovering the joy of chocolate this week after making myself some soy-free brownies. It's amazing how much you miss simple pleasures like brownies when anaphylaxis makes the regular versions too risky to enjoy.

We're blessed with a beautiful sunny day here in North Central Pennsylvania - much warmer than yesterday's cooler temps. Yesterday we took advantage of the dry weather with a trip to Ricketts Glen State Park, where we enjoyed a peaceful walk along the beach at Lake Jean before stopping at Red Rock Scoop for ice cream cones. There's something amazing about getting out and appreciating God's creation.

As always, if I can pray for you this week, please hit reply and let me know.

FARM NEWS

Hope you enjoy today's video! The goats weren't all that impressed with the lettuce, but they'll be getting bananas this week (to help with their copper bolus), so that should more than make up for the lackluster treat.

Tom Turkey decided to stay inside yesterday, so I coaxed him out today to soak up some sunshine. Meanwhile, the eldest of our two roosters is still refusing to go in at night - I think he's figured out that staying outside means getting a scoop of food all to himself after everyone else is tucked into the coop.

Unfortunately, not all the farm news is amusing. Sadie's back to digging holes in the barn again, which definitely does not make for a happy Farmer Joe.
